New baby sister

My daughter has a new baby sister!

Last evening, my ex and his wife had a baby, their first one together. This is a very happy occasion. His wife has had two miscarriages and one baby that only lived for 9 hrs. Those babies were born prematurely because she would go into labor way too early.

This time, they stitched her cervix and that worked! The last time she was pregnant was about 10 years ago and I guess they thought they would never have a child together.

I took my daughter and her other brother and sister (kids with his second wife) to the hospital to see their new sister last night. My daughter is 16 and the twins are 13, so they are starting over with this little one.

How very cool for your daughter and your X. :D YAY! How's she about it? Thrilled?

Oh she is very excited but I think a bit jealous as well.;) She went to see her again last night with her friend and she was telling me about it this morning. She said "Mom, they act like that baby is doing things that no other baby has ever done". LOL

I told her, they are just so excited that they finally were able to have a baby.
