Hark to the announcement going forth in this January month to the good folk of Ageless:

That the governance of the Poetry and Literature forum has been awarded to one ScarletHawke, the forum having been adrift for these many months following the regrettable absence of our beloved and well-remembered former moderator, Sage.

That ScarletHawke in her new capacity as Literature Forum Moderator does hereby invite and encourage all Ageless to post forthwith upon this forum their quotes, poems, stories, critiques, and book recommendations for the amusement, betterment, and inspiration of all good Ageless folk.

That ScarletHawke expects to see and read many excellent and worthy submissions to this forum, as she has the utmost faith in the good taste of the folk of Ageless (especially since they made her moderator!). ;)

Let us therefore post and be merry, all good folk of Ageless! Onward and away! :D

Hmmm...sounds like I died.
But to those of you wondering if that is the case, no, I am very much alive.

Not to butt in on the merry posting here, but just wanted to thank Scarlet for doing a dandy job while I tended to personal matters beyond my control, (including one very incorrigible computer which is now dead - May It RIP, or pieces, I really don't care...)

I hope this is a forum that can gain back it's creative spirit and I, for one, will post some writings when I can.
Please feel free to add yours too!

PS - No, I am not back as a Mod, just looking in on how things are going here.

Actually, I was trying to do the Town Crier thing. Ah well, I'm new at it. http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/images/smilies/icon_redface.gif

And you're welcome. I'd have done more but I wasn't mod on this particular board for very long. C'est la vie.

Mod or no, doesn't mean we can't both add what creativity we have here.
I have admired your poetry much Scarlet - please share when you can.

When it comes to being poetic, witty or just full of story to tell, I would hope that all know whatever the creative writing is, it's worth sharing.
