Wanted to Intorduce Myself

I have been checking this site on and off for some time now trying to get up the nerve to introduce myself.. :) I was in a (what I thought) relationship with a YM for 6 years then he disappeared. When I tell my story it sounds bogus but when I talked to him he sounded so sincere. Everytime I talked to my friends about him they looked at me like I was crazy. Oh well, life goes on and I am here to learn from others experiences and support I guess. I have found that the hurt is the same as it was at 17, just not the same length of time to get over it. :)

Your are so right.. it wasn't wasted as it did lead me to this site. Also, I can grow from the experience. Thanks for the welcome and I shall try to jump in as I have noticed everyone is very supportive and friendly. :)

Wanted to thank everyone for their warm welcomes. Haven't been around much lately, have been keeping busy but will definitely come back. This place is like home - you know you can be yourself without any recriminations. :)
