Kindred Spirits

How much do you and your SO have in common? I am repeatedly surprized at how alike Jeremy & I think!

Yesterday, he poured himself a glass of chocolate milk. Now, for some reason, I can't sip chocolate milk, I have this urge to always "slam" it down. Well, he did just that then said, "It tastes too good to drink slowly!"

It's just weird little stuff like that, stuff I've never shared in common with another man.

And he frequetly says off the wall things just as I'm about to or vice versa. It's freaky sometimes!

Anyone else have this, too?

I think this is something that sometimes happens to people who are in sync with each other and are around each other a lot. It's almost like they're inside each other's heads.

I actually am like this with a woman with whom I work. We just look at each other and crack up because we're thinking the same thing at the same time.....like ALL the time....in a meeting or if the two of us are having a conversation with a third party. We'll walk away and she'll look at me and say "You said it just as I was thinking it" or vice versa. Often it's something we're thinking that's a little devilish. We have the same sense of humor.

I have a friend that I am like that with also. He and I have had this "connection" since the first time we met. And even though we go long periods of time without communicating to each other, when we do make contact, it's like picking up where we left off. We both feel like we are kindred spirits. I am like this with one of my daughters too.
