Hey LynnDan_Shues 02-26-2005, 12:25 AM You might have to repost your last response to that HD post you created...I think the board hiccup'ed! Lynn 03-18-2005, 10:33 AM Omg I'm just now seeing this. What's wrong with me?! Unless that is when I sent my last pm to you on 2-28. But here is an update. Still waiting for that slow-to-get-here income tax return so that we can buy the upgrades. Last night, while visiting here, everything froze up so bad and couldn't do a darn thing but c/a/d to get out of pages. And then restart. We are adding a mouse to our shopping list. Any suggestions? Dan_Shues 03-18-2005, 01:54 PM Yeah, this was from February, Lynn...*LOL* As for suggestions...with a mouse? Do not go Wireless. I dislike Wireless cause of the batteries and stuff. I would go with optical. Easier to clean than a ball mouse and no dying batteries. CabinFever 03-18-2005, 03:48 PM Lynn, I have a mouse suggestion for you. I bought one that has a scroll wheel on it - I think alot of mice have them now anyhow. But it is soooo handy!! Lynn 03-18-2005, 10:15 PM Okay, the mouse I have now is not the one that came with my Dell. I bought the 'Mouse Suite Ver 1.6' by IBM last year. I don't know.. it's not a very good one. Either that or some program or other is interferring with its performance. It'll just suddenly stop working. CabinFever, this one has a scroll.... my old one did too, but it was a ball mouse. Thanks for the suggestion. :) gtsnapper 03-19-2005, 05:59 PM As for suggestions...with a mouse? Do not go Wireless. I dislike Wireless cause of the batteries and stuff. I would go with optical. I just went out and bought myself a wireless keyboard, and very quickly had to go back out and buy a second PS2 keyboard, to switch to when I want to use the bios, haa haa. Thanks Dan, I got the required IDE cables, and she fired up straight away... |
