Hey fellow ow/ym!!!!

First off let me say I am so excited I even found this site, actually I wanted to research this whole idea because of my own personal relationship. I am 47 and my "boyfriend" is 20...

I have been in denial as to how this relationship can ever work for us but there is just so much tenderness and love, it gets more and more difficult to deny anymore. Especially with him talking future marriage plans. I have been "laughed" at by co-workers, accused of taking advantage of him, and have been called his mother by unknowing store clerks...and I am still trying to handle public "outings" with him. This is all so new to me and I could use all and any advise on this relationship because I am truly hoping and wishing for this relationship to continue to work and it's my "first" ow/ym relationship. Anyway I am so happy to have found this site and hope to continue to visit here and look for any support I can get...

Welcome! This place was a godsend to me when I first entered my relationship with my now husband. I thought I was all alone in trying to deal with the issue of age differences. But when I found this place I was able to see that there are more relationships like mine than I ever thought existed! And this is just what I have seen here! Can you imagine the number of similar couples we don't know about because they don't know about this site or don't have anyway to publicize their relationship?

BTW...I am 48, my husband is 26.
