I'm so glad I found this site...

Hi there, I'm new here and started reading some of the posts here to process some of my feelings in regards YM OW relationship. I came to realize that the age gap in comparison with those on the site is very small. I am 44 she 49. I have never been in a relationship with a woman who is older than I. I have not felt such a strong connection with someone in a long time as I do with her. And since I was heading into an arena I've never been I came upon this site and it has truly reinforced my feelings of pursuing this relationship further and becoming exclusive. Thanks to all of you here for helping me process my uncertainty and fears in moving forward and understanding that our gap is only an issue if I make it one. And will follow my heart. This is my first post here. I do plan on thanking those who posted messages that were reinforcements for me when time permits. I wanted to get this on here to show my gratitude :)

Hey n8chrlvr---welcome!!! Just wanted to say good luck to you in your new relationship, sounds like its off to a great start.
Also, I consider 5 years older/younger to be the same age...maybe Ive been hanging around Ageless too long but I dont even blink at a 5 year gap! Not to discount any apprhension you're feeling in any way but...seriously!

Welcome n8chrlvr! I can understand why you came here looking for info on OW/YM relationships. A few years ago, I would have thought that being 5 years older than my b/f would be a big deal. Then I came here. I think that you, too, will soon get to the point where you look back and think "what was the big deal about the 5 year gap?" :)

Age is a number and love doesn't happen very often. Go for it and best wishes for a happy relationship.
