I stubbled upon this site by accident. I am happy it is here. I am married to a man who is 29 and I am 41. We got married last August. Our total time togethere is 4 years. I feel we have a good relationship, but still feel a little of the social stigma. I am young looking for my age and I don't advertise our age difference to anyone except my closest friend. I think most people figure out at least he is younger. However, ultimately, my husband is one to say "Who cares what people think? and "our age difference is our business"
His parents treat me very well and seem happy for us. Still I feel if he were 12 years older there would be no social stigma. Oh, well, things are changing and I think it isn't really that big of a deal for us. It is nice to see there are others out there in the same situation.
