In our older version of Ageless, if I had to go into a post and edit out swear words, it didn't actually post at the bottom of the post that I had been into the post and had edited it. And, unless the poster is one who tends to use that colorful language on a regular basis, I didn't send the individual a PM.
I notice with our new version of the boards, it now lets you know when I've gone in an asterisked out a swear word. When I do the edit, I can write in there the reason why I'm editing, but I think the asterisks over a word are pretty self-explanatory.
So, just wanted to make you aware that if you see at the bottom of your post that it says I have been in there editing it, and you have not received a PM from me explaining why, that would be the reason.
Of course, it would help our jobs as mods if everyone would self-edit. :D Please check your posts and make sure you aren't using any swear words, which are against the forum rules.
Thank you.
