Testing my Signature

I didn't know how to add graphics to my signature. Whiterose tried to talk me through it, so I'm testing it now :)

I would like to add graphics too, and still can't figure out how to put up an avatar! Help WhiteRose or someone....

for an avatar you will need to download a program that makes thumbnails...personally i went to download.com and found a program there called easy thumbnails (http://www.download.com/Easy-Thumbnails/3000-2192_4-10285473.html?tag=lst-0-1)

there you can make your images smaller... the pic size cannot be more than 100X100 and no more than 10,000 pixels..then u should be able to upload a picture as an avatar.


addressing the graphics question..
-go to the website of the picture that u want linked then right click on the picture itself.
-Go to properties.
-copy the area that says web address(URL)
-and then come here click the insert image icon at the top of this page and viola! you should have a picture in your message unless the site says u can't link from their site.

Just testing out my Signature

WOOOHOOOO......it works!!!

Okay.. I saw the post with the link to Foxyeyes tut on how to get a graphic to show in your signature space.

SO...

What you see on my post is a sig that when I use it in my private email account...etc... it shows the heart on a string swinging (animated... it's a .gif file), and a transparent background...not black. :confused:

I'd greatly appreciate if anyone could tell me what the problem might be, and how to fix it.. (fix it meaning, get my sig graphic to show without the black background, and animated like it's supposed to be...lol) I know the animated .gif file is fine... I made it myself in PSP7 & AS3. Just don't get why it appears the way it does HERE.) I uploaded the .gif to the 'ageless love unofficial website' joined, created an album uploaded the .gif(s) to there (so I'd have a web link to enter into the sig line on the member CP here at AL)then followed Foxy's tut.

Is there maybe another way to get it to 'show' by uploading directly from my gif folder from my desktop?
