Should I be upset....?

My OG and I haven't seen each other in two weeks (he lives in DC and I live in Philly). I was really looking forward to spending sometime with him tonight because I will be going out of town on Saturday with a girlfriend. We had made plans to catch a movie, but he told me two days ago that he is going to hang out with his buddies from work. I'm not really upset that we're not going to see each other b/c I know we'll see each other on Sunday when I return. I guess I'm more up upset at the fact he completely disregarded our plans without even seeing if I was okay with that. Should I be upset? Or am I just over reacting?
