Im 41 and have a friend that is 20. We are very compatible and enjoy each others company. Whenever we see each other, its like we cant stop smiling. We are both attracted to each other, but we try not to be because of the age gap. Never meant for this to happen, but it just is. The age gap isnt a big deal for us, but it is something to consider. We have mutual friends, so thats not a problem. But what about her parents? I know they would much rather see her settle down with a guy more her age.

Maybe we should just stay as freinds or should we try dating?

some say age gaps are a big issue, and some say it doesnt matter. Is it something to consider or not?

if it doesnt matter to either of you.. your both adults.. Yes these relationships sometimes have rough patches usually due to outside influences..... BUt if you both want it I don't see what is stopping you

I say go for it. :)

It doesn't happen too often that we meet someone who makes us feel alive (crushes happen a lot, but that's not what I'm talking about), so don't let it slip by just because of age.
Give it a chance.
