lately in san diego it's been VERRRRRRY hot and humid. Anyone else feeling the heat? Luckily just 1 week of classes left then finals! After that i'm free for 3 months!

Anyone have any special plans for the summer? maybe a trip you take every year. or county fair you attended everytime it comes around?

i usually take this opportunity to catch up on sleep i've missed during the semester and this is the time many friends are back from college i try to become more active instead of staying indoors. hopefully i'll be able to sweat off some of the wait i've put on this semester. in addition to that i have a few "rock concerts" with my students for music/theatre/dance production, there's a fair that comes for about a month every year i'll definitely visit that, and i'll try to check out more of the events that go on down here. how about you?

edit: of course try to viist the beach more often.

Nope. Still spring here Mano. It did get up to about 85 a couple of days last week. But, we are still having some days where the high only gets up to 65.

edit: forgot to answer about any summer plans. No plans as of yet. Would love to go back to Disney World, though. Altho' summer is not the best time to do that (crowds).

What's summer? Does it have something to do with that big yellow thing in the sky? We get a little nervous here when that appears, which isn't often. Some people think it's the end of the world!

Actually, it's been pretty warm here for the last few days, although it was quite chilly last week. So I don't think summers here just yet, although it might be on it's way. In fact, this week might be our summer. We don't generally have long ones here!!!

I too have just got exams (finals) and then I'm free to do whatever I want to with the rest of my life. I plan on getting some casual work for about 6 weeks to earn some money to then go over to Philly to see my g/f for a while. We might just go to the beach and go to a music festival called Musikfest, in Bethlehem. Should be a really, really good summer!

We enjoyed a little cold snap today, it just got up to 104! It's actually raining now and the wind is blowing. With all the sand, it's more like "sludging".

Before too long it will get up to 130. As for activities, staying alive and out of the way of mortars! The natives are getting very restless. R&R begins May 26th. I'll visit children and grandbabies!

This has been a strange winter here in Nevada with record snows and another record of 5 days in a row of -10F. We have not even had spring yet but were teased yesterday with a perfect 80 degree day to wake up this morning to rain and high winds.

I sure hope summer or even spring is here soon since I have taken the chance of planting my flower and vegetable gardens.

Well here in western PA, we had a really warm April and now May has been up and down. Upper 60's is probably been the average with a few higher 80 something days mixed in.

Next weekend we are leaving for Avon, North Carolina---Ourter Banks for a week of vacation. We go every year the week before Memorial Day---- not as busy and much more relaxing than summer time. We go again in October for our wedding anniversary.

We are busy planning, packing, cleaning and anticipating our upcoming vacation. Hope everyone has a safe and happy summer and vacation this year.

Rain, that's what we get. Once in awhile the sun peeks out, long enough to coax me outside to get my gardening done or hang sheets on the line, but I gotta be quick because the sun doesn't stay for long here.

But around July the sun will come and not leave until our yards are brown and wells are nearly dry.

As for plans.... looking for a home, we're being forced to move, and horse shows.

Actually been having decent weather here in NJ the past few days finally - after the coldest first week of May on record. Sure hope it stays that way.

Summer plans? Staying sane with kids home 24/7 from school, not to mention surviving the run up to my daughter's wedding in August. That'll keep me fairly busy.

Not summer yet here... we've had a couple of 80's last week, but other than that, it's been in the 60-70 range. It's quite cool in the mornings.

I am looking forward to my first float trip on Memorial weekend, but now I am wondering if it will be too cold. Last weekend, my friends, daughter and I went to Six Flags...it was fun and I love rollercoasters....however, I had never been on "The Boss"....geez, talk about an instant headache, I've never been jerked around so much in my life. I felt like I had the worst beating of my life....mild exaggeration. :p
