What did you do this weekend?

I spent the weekend with my YM. Layed around most of the weekend, watched a lot of movies. Grilled out. Not much of anything. But it was so perfect. :D

had a concert on saturday and sunday at two different churches, avoided the heat, celebrated a friends birthday, and now fighting to NOT get sick. :(

OlderChicka, I went to a play, "Nefertitti". The plot was mediocre, but the scenery was wonderful and the singing was awesome! In the beginning, there was what appeared to be a backdrop of silhouettes of Egyptian figures and when the lights came up, it was real people! NEAT! And THEN, there was this just totally gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous H-U-G-E, muscular, man who played the part of being in love with Nefertiti, and ooohhh la la, was HE convincing!!!! And she was so pretty and tiny! When he held her, his hand went from one side of her to the other!

Welcome to ageless! I spent all weekend long cleaning this filthy house of mine. Saturday, I focused on the kitchen and going through my pile of mail.... almost all junk. I did take about a 3 hour nap Saturday afternoon, though. :D

Sunday: did laundry. :rolleyes: But, cooked some delicious marinated chicken breasts, broccoli and corn on the cob for dinner. yum

Now you guilted me into cleaning my own house!

I hooked up a washer machine, wrote lesson plans, started planning for next year's basketball season (starting coaching again), ate pizza, read Blue Latitudes, spent a $50 gift certificate at Amazon (b-day gift from sis) and analyzed maps to plan my trip.

I got my 83 yr old dad to play Dance Dance Revolution with me! He loved it and wants to buy a playstation so he plays it with my mom!

i suspect it may be allergies...i've had all sorts of symptoms i've had an ear ache at night...sneezing and stuffy nose in the morning and coughing and stuffed nose at night...though unfortunately coughing has now remained constant. so my throat starting getting scratchy and dry from all the coughing. luckily i've been drugging myself up on tyenol and that seems to be working well. though i haven't felt 100% there the past few days. it's usually pretty rare when i get sick and when i do it's normally around winter time.
