I'm not surprised. Morals don't seem to be at the top of a lot of priority lists these days.

This is just sick, can you imagine getting or giving this kind of card?

Maybe they can make some for thiefs, liar's, backstabber's, scam artist, oh wait guess they did ;)

Nauseating. For 2 reasons... not just because of those that will stand in line panting to be the first to snatch it up, scribble in it, slap it in an envelope and giggle running to the mailbox... but, in addition, Hallmark will increase profit margins because of THAT sector of consumer market. (Lesser morals = higher profits)

Blech.

(What... has someone declared today Blech Day? I seem to be doing alot of blech today... blech!)

Deary me, what next? Perhaps a range of cards for paedohiles too? After all, it wouldn't condone it, would it:

"I'm not condemning or condoning affairs," she said. "Everybody makes a choice. Whether my cards are out there or not, people are going to get in affairs."

Somehow this does not surprise me. If it's immoral, unethical, and/or keeps peoples' mind in the gutter, then it'll have a high chance at success.

Do they come in a plain brown envelope? http://bestsmileys.com/lol/5.gif

LOL! Nah Trish, that would be the "Dear John" line of cards.... and just think, if one of those cheater's decided to leave their spouse for the cheatee, they could kill two birds with one stone there at Hallmark.... get the cheater card and the "Dear John" card at once.... which could start another line of cards "Let's celebrate my divorce" cards.

Oh wow..the mind boggles at the opportunities here.....

For my neighbor

"Im sorry that your lazy, foul-mouthed and married to the town drunk. Hope your next life turns out better!"

For my kids....

"My condolences to you for all the clothes that were disposed of while you were at school. Here's hoping next time you remember to pick them up off the bathroom floor!"

or

"Happy Make Your Own Damn Dinner Day! Mere words in a card cannot express my gratitude for all the times you looked at the dinner I made lovingly for you and said "yuck, that's nasty!".

For my oldest son....

"Happy No Oil Pressure Day! All those times I told you to check your oil, I should have known you were just waiting to celebrate this very special day with me. Congratulations!"

And I think what would be ironic is if these cards were set up right next to the Religious cards........oh, but wait, these people have no morals or conscience.......never mind....lol......

You know how they have those Hallmark tear jerker commericials during the holidays or after the "Hallmark presentation movies".....wonder if they'll include a commerical with a cheating spouse with their extramarital partner, with the other spouses sitting at home around the dinner table, and the children asking, when are they coming home? and they zoom back in on the cheaters exchanging their cards.....and ending it with "When you care to send the very best....Hallmark".......

Anything to make a dollar don't you think? And we wonder why this world's as messed up as it is.........

just my thoughts,
Sora
