How did you two get married?

to the married couples here...how did you get married? did you have a big wedding? a small one? did you elope? did you go to the justice of the peace? how did it all go off?

we're planning a small ceremony...in what manner...i don't know, yet...thanks for sharing....

We had a small ceremony outside under a giant oak tree at the local Unity church...just immediate family and a couple close friends. Very simple and short, but just what we wanted. :)

We had a small service at my sister's home in the evening. It was candlelit and my kids were the best man and maid of honor. Everyone had a small part. My sister performed the wedding. It was very intimate and sweet.

We had a good sized wedding--100 guests attended. We had it here:

We picked this location because it seemed the most central to everyone we invited.

We also had a rather nice sized wedding of 100 guests....

We got married at a historic hotel in a balcony room that overlooked the reception room. Everyone liked that it was all held in one place.

We had planned on a very small family type wedding and that seemed to balloon a little.....it was beautiful and we loved it...

We eloped to Vegas at a chapel that broadcast live over the internet
(it was great)

I don't care what you do.....can I come?

in an ideal world...i'd like it to be on a quiet beach in the tropics...close friends and family...under a big airy tent....and everyone barefoot....sounds like a cheesey reality show wedding...but hey...the ocean waves shall carry us through eternity :cool:
