Having Babies

Hello All

I know that men could have kids at any age,
I was just curious to how many of you have had babies with you OM & how
old they were when you concieved. :-)

My girlfriend's dad was 50 when she was born (her parents are 19 yrs apart). And recently some friends of ours (the man was 55) had a baby.

Well I am 30 and my husband is 47 and we have a beautiful baby boy who is 11 months old right now!!! I was 29 and he was 46 when we had him... and we are hoping to be pregnant again next year!!!!!!

We are definatly HAPPY and definatly LOVE him.... and we are the best parents to him.. Age isnt' even a factor in this....

Stephy and I have tried several times to have children. We even got pregnant twice...only to see both pregnancies fail. :( Neither of us had children before we met, so we were quite anxious to start a family. :D

We found out just recently that my wife is pregnant again...we are praying and looking forward with a cautious optimism that this pregnancy will be successful and we will have a healthy, beautiful child to love and hold. :)

Congratulations WVDreamer! I really hope things work out for the best with you and your wife. My OM is 43, I am 23 and we really hope to have kids one day, we're not married yet (mostly due to family opposition) and I have a few medical conditions that may make it tough for me to get pregnant, but I'm always hopeful! Anyways, I wish happiness to you both!! :) :D

I was 29, he was 46. I have a 9 year old son from my first marriage. This was my husband's first and last child. She is now 18 months old.

Yes i think older men would be great fathers!
My OM has 2 daughters already, i would love to give him a son.

My OM is 53, we plan on having kids & if for some reason he can't, then
we could always use a donor. My OM said that he would love & raise that
baby as if it was his own.

My ex husband was 40 when we had our youngest child. He's closer to her than either of the other two who were born when he was 28 and 30.

Yes that is so true
He might even be closer to our baby then his own kids.

I have a 4yr old daughter from a previous relationship. He has a 4 and 6yr old from his previous marriage. Im 25 and he will be 42. We are actually trying to get pregnant this month! We will know on July 3rd whether it worked or if we need to try harder :D . He is great with the children. A little passive but a great father. We not only want a child for us but to bring the family full circle. He was willing to wait a few years until I was done with school but believe it or not; I am the one who didn't want to have children after 28.
