Trying to walk

My son is 11 months old and a week or so and he's trying to walk.. he took 4 steps!!

I'm so excited

YAY! That's so cool. :D My nephew is also JUST starting to walk, too ~ my sister sends me little videos and its so adorable! I think it's such an amazing stage... all the falling and going BOOM. LOL. :eek: HAVE FUN!!!

Thanks Fos... He definatly does to.... I don't even think he realizes hes walking LOL..... He'll only do it if I'm holding something he wants LOL

Yeah, it's possible he's not fully aware he's walking... LOL!! God, I remember that. SO FUN! But, pretty soon here, it's all going to dawn on him and he's going to be all over the place...

My youngest neph is just starting to to roll, and though thaught he crawled a couple secs but might have just been mishap trying to roll.

I look at him and still can't believe we are almost ast this step of his life..... I remember like it was yesturday he was born funny thing is I look at smaller and younger babies than mine and I'm like I don't remember him ever being this small LOL wierd really

dont you love it when they get that look on their face..."look at me mum something's happening"...and then they go falling down lol...my son used to forget, or not know, to hang on to something...he'd just lurch right out there and be flying....he was a really fat baby and you'd just hear all these thuds as he landed...

You've got your work cut out mer once he gets the idea...and you thought your house was babyproof.....watch out once they're mobile....

and when they can talk...next stage...lol...

you forget how much they learn so quickly...its fun.....

He is going to be running around like crazy once he gets his balance and realizes that he can run faster then he crawls. Get ready to put your running shoes on. It is the greatest thing when they start to walk but, do expect him to take a few nasty falls. Hopefully nothing too serious. You can imagine with 7 boys my husband and I have seen our share of falls, bruises and cuts. Never to worry though, children are very resilient. Enjoy watching him grow !!

My youngest neph is going on 7 months, and my oldest neph is going to turn 3 in july. I look at them next to each other and cant rember my oldest neph being as small as my youngest neph is now.
