Thank You! Thank you Katrina for starting this thread, I wasn't sure I would get one this year with being absent without leave! Thank you to all my friends for wishing me a good day, I promise, I am back now, and should be around enough for you all to be sick of me!

I'm having a great day so far, apart from being worried about Streff who's working in Edinburgh ( I don't know how much coverage the G8 summit is getting over there, but there are riots here at the moment)

We're all going out for dinner tonight, then going to see War of The Worlds..I have a new cd burner for my computer, a new boardgame from the kids, and a new kitten! Streff's sister even made me a birthday cake! ( actually, this thing is 10lbs of chocolate cleverly disguised as a cake ;) )

39 doesn't hurt too much so far!

Thanks Everyone!
I had the coolest Birthday ever!
We got back from the picture's, and Streff told me I had to wait in the car 5 mins before I could go into the house......when I went in, my son was lying in the middle of the living room floor, with ketchup on his head, and Streff and his mate Derek announced that I was in charge of the "crime scene", now CSI is my favourite tV show, I never miss one, so this was great fun!
The "wound" had a green fibre in it, which led to Rachels duvet, which led to a ps2 with a missing memory card, which led to a controller with Megans hair on it etc etc, there were clues everywhere, and the kids all played suspects!
It took me about an hour to work my way round all the clues to find my last pressie....The CSI game for the PC!!!
Honestly, no-one has ever done anything like that for me before, I was so impressed with the amount of thought that went into it. Seemingly Streff and Derek have been planning it out for 3 days, they had rap sheets written out for all the suspects, had given all the kids their "evidence" etc, it was brilliant fun!
And today I get to play my new game, WooHoo!
Now I have until next Feb to think up something equally devious for his Birthday! :D
