In Your Eyes 07-08-2005, 02:41 PM I have been having a sh***y *** week...
my dad was hospitalized, my health hasn't been good and my summer job has ended up sucking...
so today I am sitting here tired and still not feeling well, waiting to see if i get called into work or not and the door bell rings it's the fed ex guy. My OM sent me a package from spa wish.com It was a pretty box with a 125$ spa gift certificate that can be used at a list of spas and tanning salons or to shop at their on line shop. it also came with bath fizz and a teddy bear wearing a robe. :) It made my day just to be thought of.
What was the last cute suprise everyone has receive from their s/o?

when Lewis and i were together, he sent me a dozen multi-colored roses with a box of chocolates and a lil teddy bear....for no reason at all.
was the sweetest thing.
those lil pick me ups sure make a world of difference, hu?

He said to come directly to his apt. When I walked in, the place had the drapes closed with candles lite. Soft music was playing on the stero. He told me to say not a word, and led me into the bathroom where he had a bath with salts & suds, and more candles softly glowing. He disrobed me and I got in the tub. I put my face down on raised knees and started to cry, while he hugged and gently massaged my back... softly kissing me, as I let it all out. When I got through crying, he dried me off and carried me to bed, where he listened as I talked about how unfair it was (it was unfair!!) and how I was better off this way... I think I slept for the next 12 hours straight! :)
His name was Richard and he was a photographer. ;)

But I agree with Jody, it's the days when he comes in and says "Go lie on the couch for half an hour, I'll take care of dinner" or runs me a bath then gives me a backrub, that beat roses anyday!
GoldieCat 07-09-2005, 09:42 AM Last night I was still at work when my honey left his office, he called and said he was going to the market on his way home. We usually shop on Fridays together, but he decided to do it all himself (including paying for it), and when I got home I found he'd gone to Trader Joe's where we get some of our favorite exotic treats! :)
We've got buffalo burgers (mighty good!!), salmon burgers, mochi, frozen chocolate covered bananas, wonderful porters and stouts, we had a great Greek pizza last night that was like homemade...and lots more yummy gourmet goodness.
This is only the latest little favor, he's been so good to me. :D I love my honey!
