First off, I don't "live" in Spokane, I live in Portland, but work here in the summer and live in a hotel here.
Play trombone among other instruments, love Jazz and Classical. I will be attending PSU (Portland State University) in the fall, and probably will be staying there for a few years (I live in Portland). I'll be majoring in Music AND Archaeology (always wanted to be an Archaeologist since I could talk).
I don't really know anyone in the area, so I'm trying to remedy this. Looking to make some friends, you can come hang out with me around here, I live in a hotel room, so that's not very exciting. Hopefully I'll be getting a work vehicle soon. I have a car back home but didnt want to pay for the gas up here.
I'm a liberal, but enjoy how capitalism works. Sports arent really my thing, but I'll respect anyone's activities as long as they respect mine. My activities I enjoy are playing in classical groups (I belong to a brass quintet) and Jazz bands/comboes. I also really enjoy History, mainly military history. Next year, I'll be joining a WWII reenactor group in portland, and will be a soldier in the 11th German Panzer. I'm very proud of my German decent.
Although I can't stand most popular music (pop, rap, rock, etc.) I'll respect anyone who enjoys these genres. Heck, I like Techno myself, even though I can't dance.
I work about 40+ hours a week, and make a VERY decent living for an 18 year old. Basically, I'm a construction inspector who approves/doesn't approve things on the job site. We're turning the Walmart here in Spokane into a supercenter. I do enjoy my job (I used to work at Safeway. Can you say "Hell?") but this is DEFINATELY not something I plan to do for too long.
As for faults, I'm a bit overweight so I'm working on that. It would be alot easier with somone there to slap my hand when I reach for that slice of strawberry rubarb pie. *big grin* I'm also fighting a case of acne. It's going away and isn't too bad anymore.
My friends say I'm a nice guy, some people think the other, depends I guess.
So anyways, I've written a mini-novel now (that's O.K. I love reading a good book). Thank's for reading about me!
