I am 23 and I really liked this chinese girl(27 years old)..we knew each other for almost a year ..but the only problem is when i asked her out,she told me sher prefers white guys ..now i feel like a jerk by embarassing her.please tell me how to say this in mandarin (since i am indian)

"Sorry..I didnt know you prefer white guys ..but I can still be your rabaddi friend!"

P.S:you dont need to translate "rabaddi"

Please help me out here.I dont want to lose her.

I am a translator and those machine translations can be quite unpredictable... if you do not want to say something crazy, better say it in English.

Once, to impress me, my boyfriend had "Good morning baby" translated into Spanish, and it came out "The baby of good days". :rolleyes:

umm... why do YOU feel like a jerk for asking her out? I mean its not like you knew she preferred white guys until you asked right? And even so, she is just being a bigot. Screw it and move on. There are better out there for ya. Oh and as a professional linguist I can tell you that unless you get another mandarin speaker to help you, (one you trust) don't bother trying to impress her with your skills in her language. At this point it is not going to help.
