this may sound a bit odd,but ive liked older women since i was in my 20's.(early 20's)the thing is now im in my mid 30's and my chances of being with one is getting better.its not so much that i like women to be older than me,i just find a woman over 35 to be far sexier than a younger woman.its the maturity thing,the reserved thing,and the fact they are so beautiful! full attraction! :rolleyes:

I dont mind the word "hot." I find lots of things, and lots of types of people, "hot."

Yes, it would be nice to be called beautiful, charming, wonderful, etc., (if we happened to be) but "hot" is ok too!

I dont think every relationship you have has to be THE ONE, the end all, the love of your life...we learn and grow from all types of relationships. JMO.

The reason I perceive the word "hot" in that way, because our culture. As yours are different than mine. There are lot of fundamental difference between USA and Bangladesh. Though we try to live upto world standard. :D

I think maturity is all in a person.... I find some younger women much more mature than an older woman and vice versa.... Just like I find younger men can be much more immature than an Older man and some Younger men are much more mature than Older men...

It depends on the person.. I am 30 my husband is 47 we are on the same "maturity" level... as they say Women mature faster than men :) I personally think it has to do with the Person... Not the age

Exactly, Taco.....except in the reverse for me...it's not that the ym is younger chronologically (or all that implies), it's more that I connect with ALL people better who grew up in the "era" of the 70's to early 80's. They have a view of life, fun, relationships,spirituality, culture, & love that coincides with mine better than a same age or older man (I'm 48).

If somebody told me in Spanish that I was hot, he would get slapped. That being said, you are right in the fact that you have to take those comments in the context of the culture that emits them. My American bf tells me all the time that I am hott! :D

I certainly think it's more of an "era" thing.

For example, I'm someplace early in Generation Y.. and I have an attraction to Gen X'ers. Children of the 70's and 80's as opposed to children of the 80's and 90's. Not so much baby boomers. I just feel I can relate more to X/Y, so my dating range is from 18 to about 35-36. I'm 21.

Me too...I live this each day with my husband. He makes me "feel" beautiful. And yes...he thinks I'm hott too! LOL...but he calls me beautiful every day.

I agree with the people here who think it is more of a "generational" thing. I hang out with mostly people who are younger. I find them more interesting and more fun. A lot of people my age seem to be "slowing down" because they are "middle aged". I find that very dull, indeed. Not me. I want to live and enjoy my life until it is over. I didn't look for a younger man....I just happened to find one! Lucky me.

Hey Taco...today I was approached by a admirer and have known him for a while...we chat when I happen to visit the place he works at.

Anyway, quite some time ago he had promised me to do a favor and didn't keep his promise. Yes, I thought it was odd and all but I had to get over it and still acknowledged him politely if I visited the place he worked at.

Today, he approached me to assist me with something and on bended knee started to pour his heart out apologizing and one of the things he said 'you are a real hot rod'.
