a high of 70,the smell of falling leaves all around,a painted purple sunset, fresh brewed coffee lingering in the air,the kids tired from a long day of play, early quiet time for your partner and you, under a cozy blanket, watching a movie, rubbing her neck,,,,you finish the rest.

80's and HIGH humidity here. It feels really hot out. Fittingly, we just went to the Indian Summer festival yesterday!

Well, its a perfectly georgeous day here in No. Califonia....

Ive said before I live in just a wee town here, and we host two wonderful music festivals here every year....The Russian River Blues Fest and The Russian River Jazz Fest....of which its Day 2 today!

Normally I attend the Blue Fest....see if I can explain this. The fest are held on the beach and they build a "canoe wall" in the middle of the river as a boundrie....so what happens is all the locals bring out whatever they can float down river, Boats, canoes, floaties, rafts of any kind and we hold is what I call the BEST party on water...EVER! Everyone ties up to each other until the original wall is about thick with boats and watercraft, partying, bbqing...dancing...Its pure magic. Im not so much a jazz fan so today, since I live across the street from the beach....Ill just open my doors and windows and let the music in......

Russian River Festivals (http://www.russianriverbluesfest.com/)

^^^ theres a link for whats happing here in my neck of the woods...(also rumours that some of the proceeds shall be going to help Katrina victoms

And I second that! (Although Michele and I are a few hours apart.)

Sun is out, not a cloud in the sky. Slight chilly breeze...the Sierra air is taking on its typical fall chill but it's perfect biking and hiking weather. Probably not warm enough to actually hit the beach at the lake but I'll probably drop by after biking to check it out.

Here's wishing everyone a beautiful Sunday!

Edit: P.S. - Michele, I've never been to either of those festivals. They're on the list but I've never made it yet.

Next year, pack your camping gear and you can stay in my yard...hahaha - 20 acres of it across from the beach...Id be happy to have you, and you can just walk to the beach from here! Or you can hang with me on a perfectly good $3.00 floatie from the five and dime...

Hi Amanda

Im in Sonoma County....along the Russian River!

So should I expect you next year too? :D

Next weekend is our last tourist style weekend with Women's Weekend, the we can settle back into just a tiny wee toon where we can shop through the safeway and not fight off the cases of Beer in the aisle ways...

Took the ole Monaco out this afternoon to the 9-11 Salute to the Troops/United We Cruise car cruise today....

Was about 85 out today....lot of cars out there...lot of people trying to sell cars. Some I would of liked, but the price tags were just too much for my taste...but, they were beautiful. Awesome day today...just a bit too warm.

I love Autumn.

But, its still Summer :( Its gonna be 92 this week, here in Jersey. The evenings have been a little cooler lately. I like when the days are sunny and in the 50's, low 60's.

I wanted to cry when I realized it was gonna be 90 today and tomorrow and in the 80s the rest of the week. I am so sick from allergies I wish I could wear sweats.

Bring on the 50's!! I am not ready for the 20's and the snow yet...but 50 would be damn grand right now.
