Serious topic
For those of you that have those leashes that let your dog walk a distance from you: there are two kinds, one the cloth-leash goes all the way through, the other has a thick twine. If you have the kind with the twine, PLEASE discard it. I know they're expensive, but please throw it out. If something goes wrong, you cannot grab that twine to pull your dog back (it even has a warning on the new labels: Danger: May amputate fingers. Also, if a few dogs start playing, the twine type gets wrapped very tightly and gets all wound up. I replaced mine years ago, after a few rope burns on my legs from playing dogs, but, sadly, a lady lost her dog the other day because it ran out in front of a car, and she couldn't pull him back because she had the twine-type leash.
They are very dangerous, please switch to the all cloth type.
