Hey there everyone my name is Patrick, i am 20, from new york.
I am on here to maybe meet a lovely lady, and to help get some advice on a lady that i like that lives acroos the street from me. She is in her 40's. I would love to chat with someone, and maybe get some help on this. Thank you.

Hey, well, the lady across the street, doesn't know i am interested in her. She is single. She is a very nice lady. We talk alot.

because, as he said, they talk alot.
why don't you ask her to an outing to the bookstore. the bookstore's cool in that lots have coffee shops inside (a plus for sitting and talking) and you can wander away from each other then wander back. will also give you a good idea what type of literature she likes and maybe an idea for a gift down the road ;)
just a simple "hey, i'm wantin' to go to the bookstore, wanna go with me?"

The main problem is that i am a very shy person. It may be easy for others to go up to a lady and ask her out, but for me it's kind of hard. What if she turns me down?
