Trip Hop

Anyone here listen to trip hop? It just seems like no one ever knows what it is...

Also, does anyone have any favorite house music they could recomend? I'm really starting to take a liking to it :)

You'll find plenty of trip-hop fans over the pond :D ..I haven't really explored the genre as much as I should though, since I just listen to the better known stuff like Massive Attack, Portishead, Morcheeba, DJ Shadow, Lamb and so on.

I'm not so much into house.. I think I have one George Acosta CD and thats it. I could be of more help if you were interested in drum n bass :)

Portise Head needs to put put a new CD. And Lamb is just getting better and better.

I like trip hop too, but I am like enthuse in that I haven't explored it much beyond the more popular stuff. And I am also waiting for portishead to put something new out.

I love house music . . . being a Chicago native, I basically grew up on it. What kind in particular are you looking for?

For house music, I like things that sound sort of tropical, like the Ananda Project...but I have to have lyrics, other than that its just background for a dinner party.
