We've been together 4 years, and my OM finally met my grandparents (who are about as old as his parents) He's 58 and I'm 24. He's met my mom and my brother, sister-in-law and my neice, because they come down to NYC to visit me.
I grew up in a house with my grandparents living there, but I'm kind of a bad girl, because in the last 4 years, I've actually only seen my grandparents 3 times (the time with my OM inclusive) and I've only see my mother and brother like 4 times.
I was a little worried, because I know my mother and brother didn't tell them about how old he was and my grandparents can be a little judgemental. After spending about 8 hours with him though, they loved him so much, that they actually invited him (they meant "us", but they said "him") to live with them in their winter apartment in Florida. Not to mention nearly demanding that he come for Thanksgiving...and Christmas. Then my grandmother said, "I'm glad you kids are happy." It was quite cute in my opinion.
Just wanted to share that, because it really made me laugh.
