Bragging on my OM

I just wanted to brag a little bit about my OM....cuz I think he deserves it....

So if yall want to brag a little about yall's OM...feel free too! :D

Today when Alec came home for lunch...I told him that I was planning on painting my toenails today. Well...he told me that I should wait until he comes home from work today...and that he would do it for me. *grin*

Isn't that sweet!!!! :D

awwww that was so sweet!!!! I couldn't say my hubby has ever done that...... Lately we have been working so much and missing each other so now with both of us working full time and the baby you know how that works... but when we go to sleep he has been just touching me with his foot and staying foot to foot with me so I know hes next to me... I don't know why but I love that!!

Aww, girls, that is so cute! Im jealous! My boyfriend and I are going through some really rocky stuff...so....not much cuteness lately! :)

CabinFever....come on down! LOL. I have to let him paint my toenails...cuz I'm totally a klutz and end up painting my whole toe!!! :D Plus I like it when he takes care of me and I feel like a little girl. *grin* Sometimes. lol.

My om doesn't really help me in painting my nails, my face or any part of my body, but I do have something to bragg about him.
And that is how he empties all the thrash cans and the recycling bins twice a week or whenever they need to be emptied.My husband is really good on this area, that I never have to tell him once to do it and never have a full thrash/recycling bin in our house.

I always tell Alec that the man only has a few jobs he "has" to do around the house....

Since we are on the subject, something sweet my OM does (don't laugh) is give me my monthly breast exams! I worry about breast cancer, and prevention and early detection is the key. He's a nurse, so it also gives him practice for his job.

I'm glad that his objective is keeping me healthy! :)

LOL...I've found that guys always volunteer for that job! :D I worry about it too...how awesome that your guy is a nurse so he actually knows what to do!

My OM tried to paint my toenails for me once... lmao... I ended up with a red foot and red polish on our NEW EXPENSIVE sheets!!! LOL! But, it was worth it to see him trying... and it was a sweet thought! :D

I caught that Alec comes home for lunch during the day... mine does that, too. I love that part of the day!

Me too LJ! I don't eat lunch with him when he comes home...but I've found that if he has to work through lunch...I miss him!!

It's a great part of the day. Plus ...its great for other "activities." *huge grin*

haha! although my OM is not a nurse but he will be delighted if I ask him to do so :p Guess he might want to give me a daily exam :D

...you know what I really love about my Bob?

Sometimes it's difficult for me to put into words exactly how I'm feeling about something. I know what I want to say, I just can't think of the right words. So while I'm telling him something, and I'm struggling for the right word/words to use, he'll finish the sentence. and I'll be so relieved that he understands what I'm trying to say. "Yes! Exactly!" I'll say. It's so nice to be in love with someone who knows you so well. :)

Awwww that's sweet! I'm glad you posted this because I'm always up for bragging on my OM :) He's absolutely perfect and I feel 100% taken care of when he's around. For one, he comes to all my softball games and makes sure to bring me Gatorade. The other night he was going to buy it at the concession stand when we got there and it was closed so I had to talk him out of leaving the ball park and running up to the gas station to get me some. He's always ready to do anything to make me happy - sometimes it makes ME feel inadequate because I'm just not as sweet as he is but then again, he doesn't expect that. He says that his main objective is to make me the happiest girl on this planet :p OK, I can think of a million more things to say but enough bragging already =)

Well I can say one thing about my om. I'm thankful for him coming to see me this past weekend. It was our first time meeting each other although it felt like we have already known each other for years. He kept his word for a long time and came from far away so I think he deserves a little bragging! ;)

Yes it went really well but it was such a short time it was almost like I was in a dream. I was talking to him via internet, then the past couple years we mostly talk though the phone and via webcam. We met 5 years ago and this past weekend was my very first time meeting him and I know it won't be the last. It's hard being in a LDR but I think it will work. Call me crazy, but I miss him like hell already!

I met my boyfriend Alec online also (he's 44, I'm 23) and we met 2 months after talking! :D More props to you for being able to wait that long!!!

He lives in Sweden, I'm from NH..He travels around the world for work so he had to do a job in Mass on Monday and he flew in on Saturday nite.
He was exactly what I thought he'd be. Since meeting him, it has changed things between us so hopefully everything will work it's way out.
it took me forever to even talk to him on the phone or even send him a picture, we took our time and the distance is far, so it's hard.

Hehe...for me I know I'm with the right guy when he scoops up the bug (usually a spider) and puts it outside. No bug-killin for me...well, except for mosquitoes in the middle of the night!

What I love about my OM?!.....what don't I love about him?! He just makes me feel so fuzzy inside thinking about him.

A specific thing he did the other day was awesome. We went out on Tuesday night to play cards. We went to a bar and grill where we usually play. People there had there suspisions about whether we were an "item" or not. We had not officially told everyone yet. But, we finally discussed that we didn't care if everyone knew or not. So, while we were there he told everyone outloud at our table. He said, "I love this girl", and gave me a big kiss right in front of them.
I just melted and kissed him back.

I also love how he gets jealous when other men hit on me...I was in a relationship before where my man was never jealous, and it made me feel like he didn't really care.

What about ****roaches???

Nope...not even bleeproaches!! Actually, we don't see many around here...mostly just these huge spiders. But, I don't mind bugs anyhow...or snakes...now rats YES, they bug me!

It's our 6 month anniversary and he sent me 6 roses in a pretty vase at work yesterday ~ Everyone at my work is jealous and I love it :p
