it's been a while since i posted and a lot has changed in my life. I just thought i would update everyone on my situtation. Well i have been best friends with my om for about 2 years now and we have been dating for about 1. I'm 19 he's 35. I found this site a few months after we decided to get together,and it has helped me in so many ways. I went from feeling all alone ,like no one else in the world knew what i was going through, to feeling accepted. For a very long time I was terrifed about telling my parents about my om,thinking that they would never except my relationship, but with the ecouraging words of so many member i built up enough courage to tell them. When i did tell them i was completely shocked by their reaction. I told my mother first, and she seemed a little surprised but she was very excepting. She told me that I was a big girl and could decide who i want to date. :D I then decided to break the news to my dad. He wasn't mad at all . It felt so good to finally tell them, it felt like a world of weight was lifted off my shoulders. I am so very happy they are accepting of my om. They both have met him and seem to like him. My mom even went to an amusement part with my om and i and we all had a blast. I just want to thank everyone . Everybody here has been so sweet. One person who stands out for me and who i 've always looked up to is MerAlove23. She has really helped me realize that these type of relationships can work and that there is nothing wrong with them. Look how great she is doing, she has a wonderful marriage and a beautiful baby boy . I just wanted to say thanks for everything. YOU ALL are GREAT
