Guardian angels

I dont know why that popped in my head, maybe because right now I'm kinda down. Do you believe in guardian angels?
Sometimes if I'm really down about some things I ask my guardian angel to help me find a solution. I dont know if there is one, if it exists or not but somehow it gives me some moral strenght. I dont ask for money or stuff like that, dont get me wrong! Just a push because sometimes I dont see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I even think sometimes it might be a family member that passed away or a close friend.

Yes I do believe in guardian angels. I think God gives them to us to help us out in this life and to protect us when they are able to. It's in the believing that I find my most comfort. Especially when life gets so complicated your not sure what is up or down anymore. :)

Sometimes. Sometimes I think my grandparents are looking out for me... of course, that's usually when something really positive I've been wishing/waiting/hoping for happens. ;) And I don't even think of them when that something DOESN'T happen, so its not like I'm cursing them or relying on them or anything.

My son wants his very own Fairy Godparents, so he can make "traffic jams" go away.

Everything has mostly been planned out, of course we have some imput and direction, but mostly fate takes over. We will be reunited with those we love in the next life, we always are together with those we Love again. That includes animals and people. And life after death is wonderful, and the light at the end of the tunnel does exist. Life after death no words need to be spoken, animals and humans communicate without words. Life is pure serenity.

We are on a mission, and our suffering actually is a preparation for something more spectacular or with more meaning that is to come in the future.

The main thing for us is to show love to everthing and everyone, if possilbe. And pain and discomfort, will go, everything is on a cycle, so just pray or be calm, this uncomfortable feeling, will pass Faith, and the sun will shine and happiness will come back shortly.

Life if full of pain, but the pain, makes the love and joy more valuable when it occurs.

Deep Breath, hug yourself, write an affirmation, You are love, you love yourself, you are a good person. ......

My Dad, who just died on Oct. 6th didn't believe in anything after death either.
Do you realize how had it is to watch someone die who is kinda scared because he doesn't think there is anything.
As for me, I believe that he is still around me. I feel it to my core. Sooooooooo, even if I am wrong.....it's gives me comfort to feel that he is still there watching out for me.

Waiting In The Wings
Spirit Guides
Sometimes we have a sense that someone is near, offering comfort or support just when we need it, even though there is no one visibly around. We may be having difficulty making an important decision when we are given a "sign." Something catches our attention, a message in graffiti or a song on the radio, and we feel guided in making the right choice.

Our spirit guides are waiting in the wings to offer their assistance whenever we need it. Different from angels who watch over and protect us, spirit guides are just as their names imply, beings that guide us on our spiritual path. Often, they have lived earthly lives and are now able to share their wisdom and spiritual knowledge from another realm.

Spirit guides come in many forms. The "imaginary" friends that children so often have, may indeed be spirit guides. They are the ever constant playmate, always there to keep a child company, especially when they are lonely, scared, or mad at the world. We have only to open ourselves to their presence as children do and they will offer their support.

We can invite our spirit guides into our lives through meditation or simply by asking and being more spiritually aware. Yet, guides rarely inject themselves into our lives without being asked, though they will try to get our attention, at times, especially when we are in need. Sometimes if the guide is someone we were close to, they'll surround us with the scent of their favorite perfume, or a spice they often cooked with. Sounds are also often used to get our attention, chimes or a familiar tune will run through our mind. When we listen, our guides have much to tell us. They are here to help us learn, guiding us so that we too can grow in spirit as they have. For we too, may one day be spirit guides ourselves.

I too lost my dad. That was on September 7th, 2001. And he too was scared of the same thing than your dad. That there isnt anything after so he didnt want to let go. That makes us feel worst because we are helpless. My best friend's father in law passed away a few years ago too and he was at peace so they didnt have this burden on their shoulders.
So, I do understand.
Its important to believe in something. It doesnt matter who believes you as long as you believe it.
Blessings and (((hugs)))

Yes I do believe in guardian angels, and I have read that in the Bible too that we have angels watching over us. and here is why I KNOW that we have angels-

My son was in a very serious single car accident. I got the call at 5:00am ....I drove the 30 miles to the hospital to find him in the er with a face that resembled hamburger. he had a crushing injury on the forehead above the left eye - no broken bones. his upper lip was split up to the nose - no broken teeth. his nose was cut over the bridge to the point where the tip of the nose could touch the left cheek - it was not broken. He was to be transferred to a bigger hospital for plastic surgery....

I had to fill my car with gas so decided to check out his car.......what I saw left me so shaken I couldn't drive to the other hospital - the engine was almost in the drivers seat(he hit a tree), the steering COLUMN was bent in the middle but my son had no broken bones, and no bruising on his torso from hitting the steering wheel....I truly believe there was the Hand of God or an angel between my son and the steering wheel ..... he should have had massive chest injuries and head trauma.

I definitely believe in angels, Faith, and have had at least 2 experiences that prove it. I've told these two stories before, so for those who have read them countless times, please forgive me for being redundant, but maybe someone who hasn't read these will want to hear this, so I'll share one of them with you.

When my son was about 22 months, I was driving him to Indianapolis to visit his grandparents. It was record cold that day. I can't remember exactly, but something like 14 degrees F with a windchill of 0?

My son was buckled into his safety seat. I had given him a cup of milk with a sippy lid, but he pulled the lid off and spilled milk all over himself.

I pulled over into the emergency lane because I remembered that I had some paper towels in the back of the car. Well, when I got out of the car, I accidentally locked myself out. :( I had no coat or gloves on because I usually take them off when it's going to be a long drive and the inside of the car was nice and warm. In fact, it was so warm inside the car, that my son soon began to perspire.

I panicked. I couldn't find any rocks to use to open the window. I tried waving down many motorists, but no one would stop. Semi's were flying by stirring up a wind that made me even more cold. I was starting to hurt and was standing outside my car watching my son overheat.

I started screaming for help and praying to God to send someone to help me. Moments later a man pulled up and said that there was a state police post at the last exit and that he would turn around and go get help for me. Whew! Help at last, but I was still freezing. It was so painful. Within moments, another car pulled up and a guy wearing an army uniform got out of the car and all he said to me was "don't worry, help is on the way". He handed me a blanket and some gloves and drove off.

When the original gentleman returned with the police officer, I thanked them for sending that soldier to me with the blanket and gloves. They both looked at me and said, "what soldier?" I knew then he was an angel.

Thank you all for sharing this with me :)

Kitty...I sometimes do hear stories like that. Thank god your son was allright. Bless you and your son.

Whiterose...wow, pretty amazing. Hard to find a logical explanation for it. Unless this soldier just happened to pass by but even than still, he was at the right place at the right time and so I think there was a reason for that.

And Kathy. You are right girl. they can come in any forms. Just when we need them. Look at Whiterose story. Wonderful example.

:D I definitely believe in guardian angels. :) Maybe they are that deep knowing inside all of us, maybe our superconsciousness, maybe a loved one watching over us. Whatever they are, they give us strength when we are weak, they comfort us when we are alone, and the guide us when we are lost. All things esoteric cannot be explained, seen, or touched, but yet, we always know they are there. Or....maybe.....it is "Faith" :D

Thank you Faith.
When I was19 my girlfriend and I were driving to CA. for some crazy reason and it was her turn to drive. It was about 11:00AM, hot, and no radio stations would come in. I fell asleep and was probably sleeping about an hour when something woke me up...........I mean literly said "Jodey WAKE UP". I opened my eyes and Annie (my friend) was about to drive off a very steep cliff. I looked at her and she was slupped over the wheel sleeping. Looked at the speedometer, she was going 70mph. I yelled "Annie!" and she looked up and turned the wheel just in time..........we hit a mountain instead. I went though the windshield and fractured my nose, compressed 2 vertebrae, and almost lost my right arm at the wrist, but, we survived.
I was told that I would never dance again but 1 year later I was dancing and doing just fine.
Today, I do have a lot of backpain from that incident but also many good memories that might have never happened.
To whatever force woke me up........I will be forever grateful.
Blessings, Tinydancer

At the time I thought maybe he just saw me and stopped to give me the blanket and gloves. But, how could he know help was on the way? And, why didn't he ask me any questions like "do you need help?" or "what happened?". I think he was an angel sent to give me comfort while waiting for help.

I love what you said. Its very true.
Sometimes its our own fears that stops us. I try to listen to that little voice inside of me (no i'm not schizo for those that might wonder) :p
I just try to listen to my heart and if I feel desperate well, somehow a solution do comes up. Whether someone else will try to help me or something I will think about or I just get "lucky" in some ways.
You know, my father's brother died at the age of 12. Accident :(
He was very spiritual (wanted to be a priest) and he was absolutely a beautiful child. I have and kept a picture of hm and my dad together when my dad was about 9 and my uncle Roger was 11 (just a bit before that happened). Its a beautiful picture.
Anyhow, I am born the exact same day as him. April 14.
I always wondered what special meaning it had.
Still not sure to this day but sure is special.
Well, just wanted to share that.

I sure have Skater...a momentary meeting with someone who makes you reevaluate everything about your life...that's what I call a guardian angel...and I've usually met them at points in my life when I needed to make a change...interesting how that works huh? :)
