Your Dream Office

The Judge informed us yesterday that he finally went ahead and bought a building for our offices. . .no more renting, no more ghosts, all that. . .he's been threatening for months now and we honestly thought he'd never carry through, but, last night, he told us to take the next few days to "build" our dream offices.

I've been hard at work designing my new office and I was thinking about how other people might go about this same task. . .so, I ask you, what would your dream office look like?? If you had an unlimited budget (alas, I have a budget of 150,000.00) and a 20x18 space for a new office, what would YOU do with it??

Oh...OH...SO SWEET! 10 things for a kick *** office!
#1 Room for a little bed/mattress type thing...nothing fancy :)
#2 Wireless everything...computer, printer, speakers, mikes, even headphones, cd player, everything surround sound, and EVERYTHING WIRELESS
#3 55 G fishtank. Studies show they are very relaxing. That's what my denstist said anyway. It will save your boss money on health insurance in the long run.
#4 Nice antique bookcase with turned wood and gorgeous molding. Everyone's gotta have a nice bookcase.
#5 Plently of natural light. A must for any room you want to spend a lot of time in. French doors that open into an outdoor space if you can. Bowed sitting windows if not.
#6 Coffee pot and refrigerator (small, in a cabinet in the corner)
#7 Plants. Same theory as the fishtank.
#8 A Tapestry. A big one, any kind that catches your fancy. Put it on your loudest wall. Tapestries are cool.
#9 One of those little basketball hoops stuck to the back of the door. This is maybe the simplest and best time waster since the internet was invented.
#10 Wine chiller. Wow, do you know how sweet an office with a wine chiller would be? I do...totally sweet.

You are so lucky.

Well, as a dance teacher, I don't need an office but $150,000 would buy a good size space with the proper sprung floors and maybe even a live pianist instead of always using CDs.
I would open my own studio and call it "BIO Ballet".......meaning, BY INVITATION ONLY.......no more crazy parents or students who's hearts and heads are not into it.
Blessings, Tinydancer
