YW/OM relationships: lots of them out there!!

At work today my co-workers and I were talking about non-traditional relationships and I brougt up my age-gap relationship, and boy did I get some looks and comments!!

(These particular co-works were between 18-24 years old).

I took it all in, and started talking about how much I love my relationship and how the age difference means nothing! Much to my surprise two of my supervisors approached me and said they were in age-gap relationships too!!!

My female supervisor is 33 and her OM is 49.

My male supervisor is 65 and his YW is 45. (They have been happily married for 20 years)

Both say they have WONDERFUL relationships. Haha boy did my co-workers shut up!!

Just some encouragement for any of you uncomfortable about your OM. There's a lot of OM/YW relationships out there!

thanks for sharing. that is pretty cool :) alot more common to see YW/OM relationships so i see them often here.

Ya me too find out that my colleague who married a man who is 20yrs her senior. All the while she is been telling us that her husband is 46 only when I told her about my bf age, to my surprise she told me that her husband is same age with my bf. She is happy with her marriage and they have 2 lovely kids. :)

A few co-workers of mine are in age gap relationships. One is a 20 year gap, the other a 15 year gap (they're married) and the third a ten year gap.

My cousin and her husband are ten years apart.

It's always comforting to know you're not the only one, you know? :)
