My Bio
I am a 36 year old wonder of life on August 2nd -
I was born and raised in Phila pa.
To paint a picture of myself, I am roughly 5’8", More about me from a
personality perspective, I would say that I am spiritual, vocal,
well-spoken intelligent, honest, incurably romantic, easy-going,
(com)passionate, sincere, down-to-earth, loving, creative, and enjoy
stepping outside of the box – occasionally.
I enjoy all kinds of things including, but not limited to: poetry, fine art,
theatre, music (various genres), helping out others in time of needs
movies, skating, bowling, arts & crafts, candlemaking and tables
games of all sorts (but not mind games).

I am a handyman, around the house.
My friends and family jokingly refer to me as a jack-of-all trades.
I will trace wiring, lay tile, hang drywall, install ceiling fans, assemble
furniture, handle minor plumbing repairs and just about any other
thing that I figure I can do! I don’t mind getting my hands dirty.
I’m not saying that I can necessarily repair anything and everything that breaks --
If I had to sum myself up in just a couple of words, I would say… June/ Renaissance man.
I do not generally go out a lot. I am at home, so to speak, in a pair of
jeans and t-shirt working - making scentedcandles that has to be
shipped out the next day; however, I am very much capable of tipping
the scales in the other direction. I have found that I have very little
tolerance for the games that seem to be typical these days. I tend to
be very straight-forward and ask the same in return. When meeting
new people, I am typically very quiet, preferring to learn about them through their conversation.
Ultimately, I am searching for my soul mate, someone who:
Is unafraid of commitment;
is spirit-filled;
knows what it means to be woman;
knows what it means to defer to the principals of;
marriage as defined in the Bible;
knows that any relationship is going to have its ups;
and downs but is willing to work to keep it going;
can be a woman and yet be in touch with her emotional side;
can be strong and yielding when necessary;
and can keep the lines of communication open.
The best summary of my soul mate, would be as written by
TD Jakes in ‘The Lady, Her Lover and Her Lord.’ [pp87-88]

My ideal partner would be someone who is looking for a best friend first. If your significant other isn't your best friend, then all the other areas of the relationship will be lacking those qualities that very good friends bring to a relationship and appreciate in one another. Someone who is very passionate in love and life. Someone who wants to love freely with their whole heart - not fearful to share and express all kinds of emotions and feelings, as "It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all." A woman who is strong in character, but kind and gentle in spirit. A woman who recognizes the differences between men and women and likes, appreciates, and respects those differences. I am not self-centered, so I would only be interested in someone who likes giving smile of joy each day, especially from the heart. Who is kind, considerate, patient, loving and respectful. Someone who really cares about others and is searching for meaning and joy in their life. If you are a negative person, we would not do well together, as I am a very positive individual - my cup is always half full!
