How do you feel about Cats and Dogs?

I voted for Dogs; for some strange reason, everytime I stroke a cat, they get on my lap as I assume they like it, and then after a few minutes sink their claws into me :(

Cats express their playfulness by biting and sratching. At least my cat does, never hard enough to cut me though. If in doubt watch the cat's tail. If it starts twitching, it is getting mad.

I voted for "other" because I prefer cats over dogs. :D But, do love both.

I definitely prefer cats, but I still love dogs. I LOVE animals in general!! I prefer cats for myself because they are much lower maintenance!!!

I voted for "other"... I love both cats and dogs, but I prefere cats cause the are independent creatures and don't need to be walked, I'm a bit lazy :o

i hate cats with a passion. but love dogs :D

I love all felines, especially my special "child", part Siamese/Lynx with big blue eyes. She is a beauty. Wish I could have a dog, but lifestyle at this time does not permit. Would love a Golden Retriever or Rhodesian Ridgeback. Growing up, we always had several pets at once, and would keep at least one out of the litter of pups or kittens. :)

--rescuer from dangerous situations
--protector from nasty fireworks
and general cuddler

by a 2yo labrador and a 7 month old kitten I was forced to vote for both :D :D

I adore both cats and dogs... but I adore cats just a little bit more! ;)

I get around either species and I make a fool out of myself talking to the beastie in high-pitched baby talk. :) When I have room and time for animals I'm going to have both--maybe an all-black theme with a Black Lab and a Bombay cat.
