still searching in North Carolina

22 y/o grad student in North Carolina hopelessly looking for companionship. Beginning to wonder if my attraction to older women is a bad thing. I admit that I'm somewhat shy, but I never thought it would be this difficult to gain the interest of an older woman. Is there a secret or trick of the trade I don't know about?:confused:

Hi. It looks like you are new here. I don't recall having seen you around the forums. Anyway, tell us some more about yourself--physical appearance (post a photo if you can), topics of study, hobbies, interests, history and start a thread about some interesting topic so that people can interact and get to know you. Stop by the chat room, too. That way, you will have more of a chance to meet someone. There are a lot of delightful older women here who might be interested in you.

Yep, I agree with Patricia and Dyan, just jump in and do some posting (its easier than you think) and come in the chat room. It definitely helps to begin with chatting, it helps with the shyness :) And just so you know, us older women are as easy to talk to as anyone else, we're just people too ;)

All of the above are correct. I'm a fairly new OW and starting talking the chat room first. Makes it a lot easier to get to know people. Everyone is really friendly and will make u feel at home.

We do need to know more about you tho!
