Cats and microphones

Has any of you tried to get a cat to meow on a microphone? Cats are microphone-shy. My bf has the same problem, his cat meows as long as he is not put in front of a mic.

I have a cat that says "mama" when she is hungry. I tell people and they laugh, some believe me, some dont, so I tried to record my cat saying "mama". No such luck.

I have always found that pets and children never do what you want them to when you want them to do it. :)

What a coincidence! My son just set up a microphone for me. I was using it for the first time the other day and I tried to get Joey to say hello to my friend. Despite the fact that I tried all my tricks, he wouldn't utter a peep, much less a meow!

Obviously, not all animals suffer from this phobia:
