tinydancer 11-29-2005, 09:53 AM Hey there,
It was good to talk with you for a few minutes. You are an awsome person and a good Mom.
I am holding you to us getting together.........anyone else care to join us?
Blessings, Tinydancer
fos4snt 11-29-2005, 09:58 AM T'was awesome to have a few minutes to chat... and I loved your zany toque (my purposely misspelled TUC ~ tis a hat ~ LOL) and I went home and told Litical we'll be gettin' together soon, but that I needed to figure out what the kids were doing this weekend, since the ex screwed me all up in not taking our daughter last weekend. LOL
HEY ~ do you like GOOD mexican food? Viva Mexico was incredible... its in Inwood. *drool* I am looking for any/all excuses to go there. Bwahhahahaha!
YAY!
~phos
tinydancer 11-29-2005, 10:08 AM LOVE It..........Excuse Validated lol.
Lets go
In Your Eyes 11-29-2005, 10:38 AM Awww you guys are so cute. Glad you had fun :)
fos4snt 11-29-2005, 10:45 AM Jersey's not too far. ;) Mid-Atlantic states. Come on down for a weekend trip to Charles Town Races & Slots and a helluva good dinner at Viva Mexico! :D
In fact, I believe it only took Amina 2 1/2 hours last time she came? AMINA ~ where are you???
~phos
In Your Eyes 11-29-2005, 04:46 PM Hmm maybe in the spring I will treck in that direction, I love going to places I have never been. I have this weird goal to go to every state eventually. Don't know why, just think it would be fun. Where are you at Virginia? WV? I have been to both but when I was a lil kid.
fos4snt 11-29-2005, 05:48 PM We're in WVA, IYE. Just across the state line in the panhandle about five minutes from Charles Town. Come on down. :D In late spring, early summer... as Amina knows... there is always TUBING. Oh what fun.
~phos
CabinFever 11-30-2005, 12:29 AM Aww....I miss you guys. I've been offline alot (went and got another job - as if I wasn't busy enough already) and wish I could meet up in person....oh well one day maybe.
Phos - hope you had a good visit to Ontario - didn't you go sometime this month?
In Your Eyes 11-30-2005, 12:52 AM IYE, you should plan an Ageless NYC get-together!
Hmmm...who lives in this region: me, Amina, Viva...anyone else??
fos4snt 11-30-2005, 06:57 AM IYE: A lot of east coasters and Canadians from Ontario could probably make NYC ~ I'd have to bow out, since I'm not going there lest I never come home. LOL
DC, Philly, Boston, Canada, I'd do those. Everytime I step foot in Jersey something horrible happens to me, so I've learned that its a state that doesn't want me there. I refuse to drive in Jersey EVER again. BWAHAHAHAHA.
DC, Baltimore or Philly are probably great central points for most east coasters. Just a thought.
CabinFever: I had a great time in Ontario two weekends ago. It was COLD and the weather there is whacky, but we had fun for certain. ;) Thanks for asking!
~phos
tinydancer 11-30-2005, 07:20 AM OK, so when are we doin' this........I'm ready lol.
Did you guys have severe rain last night? I drove to work in a freakin' monsoon(spell?)..........very scary, but kind of cool too.
Blessings, Tiny
fos4snt 11-30-2005, 07:56 AM My electric was out all night. That means, no water as the well pump requires electric to run. Early bed. No ALARM. Wake up late (I am still home... )
Soooo... I get up, get ready for work and finish my hair, and head out to feed the dogs. Only, the dogs were... ah.... GONE!!
MISSY... BARON!! I grabbed the two food dishes and started banging them together when I realize the WHOLE side of the fence towards the sheds FELL DOWN. I guess it was SO wet and SO windy it just BLEW down. HOLY POOP!
MISSY!!! BARRRRRRRRON!!! *bangbangbangbang of food dishes* Baron comes running across the tracks (from the cow paddies) and bounds up to me on the OTHER side of the fence. I had to kick a bunch of rocks out of the way to let him IN. Missy comes running, Baron jumps what little is left of the fence (enough to keep ME in!) and they run off into the freakin ROAD.
OH @%#@*#$(
I get the gate open, get them inside with some yelling and knee slapping an they jump all over me. MUD. (clean clothes, freshly showered Me, now MUD!!!)
I get Missy inside. Baron refused. I had to drag him in. Hell, who'd want to go inside when they can be FFRRREEEEEE. UGH.
Got them in, now I have to go out and try to fix the freakin' fence!!! BY MYSELF. CRAP. The dogs are inside muddying up my house. My message into work was freakin' hilarious!!! *deep sigh*

tinydancer 11-30-2005, 08:02 AM Ack lol..........it was quite a storm. Rt. 9 was so foggy and the rain was coming down so hard that it took me over 2 hours to get to work. It was pretty cool to watch though but my hands and shoulders are sore from holding on to the steering wheel for dear life
Blessings, Tiny
fos4snt 11-30-2005, 08:35 AM Yeah, Litical had to drive up 671 in it. He said it was like hitting a wall of water!
We had a short stint of hail here at the Crooked Chimney. Howling winds, which tried to rip my storm door off (had to grab it, latch it and lock it to keep the wind from ripping it out!)
Put it this way... there is a rain puddle on the woodstove pad inside my house, because it rained SO hard down that chimney it leaked out the woodstove onto the floor. I've checked everywhere else water could have come in, and the only place is the woodstove.
I have a 1/4 acre pond right now in my backyard, which last night came up and over the main road. My other back/side yard is nothing but muck.
No way is that fence going back up without at least three people working on it. I could get and shore up (with cinderblocks, thank you) one section of fence post, then a crossbar would fall out. Okay, these things are freakin HEAVY, and oddly, slippery when wet. It's not some simple, light weight fence. They're nearly LOGS about 8 feet long and did I say slippery???
And there is a good 6 fence posts leanin towards the ground, two of which I KNOW will not go any further into the ground, because there is giant rock about 2 feet down. This might turn into a need to cement those in. ARGH. Tis all I can say.
Now I need to dogproof the Crooked Chimney house as best I can before I head off to work... since there really is NOTHING I can do here alone to fix that fence. Nope.
~phos
tinydancer 11-30-2005, 08:38 AM Awwww, lol...........I'll come help you.
Blessings, TD
fos4snt 11-30-2005, 08:46 AM Thanks, tinydancer... but, I figure once Litical gets home tonight, we can try to get our neighbor, Carl, over to help. Two to hold and jimmy the fence back together and one to smack the fence posts with a sledge hammer to drive them back in, but I REALLY don't think that will work. Whoever put UP this fence in the first place wasn't looking for sturdy, apparently.
My dogs, bedrock 2 feet down, that wind and all the MUD just is toooo much. LOL. Off to work. The dogs should be fine. Lord knows they're tired from all that runnin' in the MOOOO field across the tracks.

lovey6975 11-30-2005, 10:22 AM IYE: A lot of east coasters and Canadians from Ontario could probably make NYC ~ I'd have to bow out, since I'm not going there lest I never come home. LOL

Is that an indirect poke at me not having nor trying to get a passport? :p Or a direct one?
To bad about the fence, you know if you came here to stay forever and ever I could provide you with the best fence mender in the world and that's just a small trick in his bag of many :D
Still love you witout my passport.
~Jenna
fos4snt 11-30-2005, 10:35 AM  I wasn't poking at you AT ALL. In fact, the thought never even crossed my mind. Charlotte, CabinFever, Faith and others are also from Ontario, right? :p
I think, though, on the whole passport thing ~ it's just a shame that anytime you want to do something that you can't do because of your refusing to remedy that situation you allow the person who started all this to continue to negatively affect you and your life. So, in a very large way, she still wins ~ still has control and a toxic/negative effect on your life. So, the principal you're standing on? Is the very thing effectively corroding your ability to move past the toxic experience. Instead, both the principal AND the toxic person who caused this mess in the first place are like ACID to your future. *shrug*
Anyway, I wouldn't go to NY because I KNOW how much I will like the place and I do not want to be pining away over it... like I did for 10+ years for Richmond. In my heart, I am a city girl ~ but I love the Crooked Chimney enough to NOT want to leave, so why tempt myself?
~phos
lovey6975 11-30-2005, 10:53 AM All riled up this morning aren't ya? :p
~Jenna
In Your Eyes 11-30-2005, 12:49 PM Amina- LOL, I would have no problem with Philly as the location and I am sure most wouldn't either.

Tinydancer- Were u on RT 9 in NJ? or another rt 9?? I hate out rt9 it sux.
