I am curious as to how many of you have moved for someone that you were in a LDR with and how was the outcome?

Closing the LDR Gap ((moving to them))Jeweladream 11-30-2005, 10:44 PM I am curious as to how many of you have moved for someone that you were in a LDR with and how was the outcome? TxCaramel 11-30-2005, 11:09 PM havent moved yet. will let ya know what happens in august :) RobsGirl 11-30-2005, 11:31 PM He moved up here to be closer and I'll be moving over there once the school year is done. Thus far it's worked out great - we get to see each other more, spend quality time together that we just talked about before. It also helps with his therapy to be this close to where I am being I'm his support system. I think it will continue to be a good thing. jesique 12-01-2005, 12:55 PM I just moved from Texas to North Carolina for my man...(we've got a 20 year gap...I'm 23 and he's 44) I've been here almost 4 months now...and so far had to deal with finding a doctor, school issues, and looking for a job. Other than that...I love being with my man...it's even better than I could have imagined. There are differences than from when we used to visit though. That feeling of urgancy...that you just want to rip their clothes off the first min you see them....thats not really there anymore...because you see your man everyday. But thats an ok trade off if you ask me. *grin* Being bored during the day is my biggest problem...but once school starts up again...that will go away I feel. Hope this helps...if you have any questions...feel free to PM me! :D Nadine. It was not easy leaving behind my kids and grandkids, my aging parents, etc. But we all didn't live in the same state anyway and we didn't get to see other but maybe once a year if we were lucky. Although it is more expensive for me to fly home to see my family (which I recently did for Thanksgiving)it is still just a flight away. Of course the flight is a dreadful 22 hours! but worth it to see my family! Once I got over the culture shock and homesickness (at least for now) living here has been great because I am with my sweetie. |
