My daughter had her first gymnastics lesson and loved it. Got her home and in the shower and the freakin' power goes out while I'm rinsing her hair. :eek: I dunno if you read about the howling storm last Tuesday, where power went out for 10 hours. Last night was only 3 hours of no power, but the poor kid was in the SHOWER!!

No power = no heat and no water! Poor girl.

Got her all dry and dressed (in the dark) and fed her dry cereal for dinner :rolleyes: since the stove and nuker don't work without power either. Put her and her brother in bed together with both comforters and 30 minutes later, the power comes back on. Go figure.

I had court. Night court sucks. It's boring and almost always DUI cases. It's NOTHING like the Night Court on TV!! *pout* We really could use a Bull or a baliff with crazy socks to lighten up the joint!!

Although. . .last night we had a fugitive brought in, which was kind of cool. I guess fugitives from Kansas who don't know how to drive on the ice shouldn't indulge in skid speed chases with the cops!

I love Crown and typically don't like to see it spoiled with anything but a single ice cube...but WA Apples are TASTY!

Well I worked all day so I'm exhausted... However my day got somuch better when I looked in my son's eyes and he gave me a huge kiss!!!! then We watched war of the worlds so now i'm freaked LOL.. but I loved the movie..... so Yeah I had a pretty good night Now all I get to look forward to is dreaming of big Silver Aliens

LOL... I'm flying to Chicago to see a friend of mine that I grew up with... I'm staying downtown and we are planning to do A LOT Of bar hoping between the two of us... As much as I love being a mother, I'm looking forward to a weekend out with just the girls. :)

I'm off to paint the town red. Looking forward to a major hang over tomorrow morning :D
