Actually, it's snowed out here recently, IYE. We also use it as an excuse to stay home. Well, my wife does, since she's working.

I'm home all the time.

Whatever. I guess since I live in snow country, we don't get to use that excuse. :p

I work from home so it wouldn't work for me anyway!

O'course, we also get to ski/snowboard for about 6 months out of the year!

Well I know IYE's is in school and if it snows enough Yep Schools will be cancelled.... Only time business close is when the snow is blizzard like and blinding and trechorous.... which happens at least twice a year... :)

If it snows ENOUGH and if it is still coming down at like 8am, then we will have off of school.

I need at least 3 or 4 inches and I need it still in action around 8am, that is what i am hoping for lol.

ahh, I get it.

It is sure cold enough here in the Panhandle (low 20s) but no such luck. We are lucky to get a drop of rain up here. Will be going back up to PNW in February so hope to see some then! :)

Well we've got 6 inches on the ground from this weekend and more on the way tonight and tomorrow. Also highs in the teens today and only in the single digits this weekend. Looks to be a good weekend for some sledding!

haha yeah, that's what I thought too. Man, that would be a lot of days off around these parts.

definitely does not look like any snow around here which stinks cause yeah i need a day off to catch up on work...ugh

I guess I am in the sunbelt here with 5 degrees in Lubbock! We are supposed to get a dusting of snow today only. The rest of the country in minus 20 or more cold temps today :eek:

Forecast for us is lookin like 7 - 10" YIPPEE. Can't wait. Love being in the "higher elevations." LOL!

Where you at Fos??? We got 6-8 in the last week. It is finally warming up to above 20 degrees so my son and I are tubing this weekend.

I'll just say "Thank goodness!" for being born to a West Coast family and being able to live here still. Out here we get worried when it's 35 deg. F. :D

Nope now plugs hanging from my car. It doesn't get below zero very often here thankgoodness and not at all last year. But since we got to 105 this summer it only seems fair to dip below the "O".

Yep love Colorado. Skiing is the best here this year than in many previously. Should be in the 40's this weekend and 50 by monday. The weather fluctuates here so often. They say you know you live in colorado when you have your heat on one day and the AC on the next. It is true ya know.....

This happened to me yesterday in the same day! I live in CO too, ya know, and yesterday morning, it was, what -1 out? I'd say, around 1:00 in the afternoon I had to take off my coat and use the cold air (not quite the AC) because the sun was out and made my car HOT!! It was nice, because the snow was melting (ya know, they never plow side roads, like in my apt complex!! :mad: ) and it was actually warm out for a change!!

What's a "coat"?? Something to do with paint, right?!! :p :D

Funny you mentioning the plug out the hood of the car, Big H! I was in Alaska this summer, had a rental car for a couple months. Saw that hanging out and thought, uh oh a bomb! So went all the way back into the airport to get another car. The woman at the desk looked at me very annoyed, and said that all the cars in Anchorage have a plug like that for the winter time. I was still leery but took the car. Several weeks later a friend came over and asked why I had it hanging out in the summertime! So he opened the hood and placed it inside. Just not a "northerner"! :cool:
