Ok, I know John 311, and I really don't believe that he is Goldiecat's BF, mostly because John is in MA, and I believe Goldiecat is located more westward? I could be wrong but i think that's right ...

Nope, John's not my guy - but I can see some resemblance, they do have the same first initial, AND I did move from Boston not too long ago. I lived there for over 20 years. Sooo, I can see why there might be some confuzzlement. (But John and I have never met.)

My honey has never been an actual member at ageless though he knows of it and has met (with me) at least 4 others from here. (I'd been a member here for over 2 years before meeting him.)

Aaaand John's a little older than my honey isn't he? A happy birthday to John-311 in any case!

I love it - it's like getting a birthday party all over again! Thank you Whiterose for being your usual thoughtful self by starting the thread and thank you everyone else for the well wishes (and don't worry Dy, you can get away without any fancy flashing graphics). It was such an awesome surprise - you all really made my day. I even got to be Goldies S.O. for a couple of hours - if I had only known!

My biggest gift this year was a massive snowstorm with the most incredible lightning I have ever seen. It's a rarity around here so it was pretty special. But the coolest thing was last night, playing a show with the band, they totally surprised me. Now the last two guys in the band were surprised on their birthdays with .....um, adult dancing telegrams (aww hell, who am I kidding, they were strippers). SOOO I had my eyes peeled, trying to figure out which girl was going to embarrass me in front of everyone. But they totally blindsided me by learing a couple of songs behind my back - one was a song I wrote but we've never played together and the other a Chilli Peppers song I love and have been dying to play. I was so surprised when they started playing the songs. It was awesome.

Then I come here and get another surprise - so thank you all again. It goes to show what kind of place this is here where someone can post a few times in the past year and STILL get an Ageless birthday. Even though I still visit all the time, Im unfortunately only able to read the threads because by the time Im done catching up, its time to head out to work again. I work too damn much! I need to get back!

So thanks again all - you guys are the best.

P.S. - yep - 311 is after the band name although I looked up John 3:11 in the bible and posted it a while back. It was a vague quote but I think we tied it into Ageless Love somehow.
