Flavor of the day? What does this mean....

The other day I heard someone comment to another person who is the latest "flavor of the day"....what does this mean????

Does it mean "player"....I'm confused.

Ahhh ok...hmmm..sad...so basically it means "player"....correct.

If a person is having a fling...this usually means they are a player...in which case..."flavor of the day" would apply...I assume.

it could mean they're a player, but it could also mean that they get ticked off with whomever they're dating and dump em and have a tendency to move from one relationship to the next very quickly

it's not necessarily a BAD phrase. it's like if i hadn't seen my aunt in a year and she's curious how my love life is, "so who's the flavor of the day, Trace?"

like most things, it can be a derogatory thing but then most things can.

"Here today, gone tomorrow."

Could mean someone who is popular now, as in a celebrity, but won't have any longevity - like Paris Hilton or any reality TV person.

If a person is asking another person who is the flavor of the day, yes, that could indicate that the person goes through multiple relationships very quickly. So much so that it seems that he/she has a new love interest every day. Not necessarily a "player."

Flavor of the day, is like flavor of the week. It is not the player himself (or herself) is what they call the person they are pursuing at the moment. Like say a guys says "I have a date with Nicole tonite and Monica tomorrow". Nicole would be "the flavor of the day"

....but then again I've ALWAYS liked vanilla...so I guess my flavor of the day hasn't ever changed...I usually try to stick with one flavor. :D

Also, the sign of a guy who chooses a different flavor of the day each day of the week...not taking into consideration anyone else but himself....yeah, those are the type I jusrt love to turn it around on...anyway...further updates over the weekend on "As the Drama Turns at Ageless" :rolleyes:
