Anyone see 'King Kong' yet??? SO GOOD!!! Ya, it's long...but soooo worth it! I cried 3 times during the movie. Really good, worth your $$$ :D

The movie was great! Although make sure you don't eat anything during or before the movie, because that bug scene with the giant leaches is pretty gross.

I saw it last night and LOVED it. Very long, over 3 hours, with at least 2 1/2 of those hours action packed. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the film. I saw the late show, which ended well after midnight, and when I got home it took me another 3 hours to wind down enough to be able to fall asleep!

Funny, I didn't cry as I had expected since I cried in the original. But I think that was because I still hadn't recovered from the action scenes enough to get into the more emotional scenes.

I agree that the bug scene and the scene with the savages on the island are not for the faint of heart. I had considered taking my 9 and 11 y/o sons to see it, but after seeing it myself I've changed my mind. I think it's far too intense for kids of those ages, tho they tell me some of their friends have seen it.

One thing is for sure-you will NOT fall asleep during this film!

Saw the movie and liked it a lot. The 3 hours made it a very long movie, felt they could have done with out the bug scenes and some of the dinosaur action. That seemed just a weee bit cheesy to me.

Got the DVD a week ago and have seen "Kong" 4 times now. I totally love it and before I heard that it was REALLY good, I wasn't even going to watch it. It was a true adventure! ;)
