It seems Saturday and Sunday evenings are the big times for chatting. I plan to be on the boards tonight, maybe I'll see you there. :)

Tulip, I believe you posted that you are from Europe. While we have members here from all over the world, I find that most of the busy times in the chatroom are in the evenings in the eastern time zone in the U.S. Probably 6-7 hours behind you. That may be why you aren't finding people in chat when you are online.... because of the time difference. :)
