Thanks, gang.
I'm talking to everyone who contributed to, and voted on, the very controversial thread about a certain fictional aunt and nephew in Montana.
The subject made most of us queasy. Some of us wanted to throw up. Some of us could see it from both sides. Still others were pretty unemotional about the scenario, and not bothered in the least.
There was no right or wrong answer; everybody had their say, and got to explain their feelings.
At last count, our sentiments were: 55% -- Sick and 45% -- Not Sick.
I truly thought we had an excellent discussion, overall. A very eloquent, thoughtful, and intelligent exchange of views. There was just a hint of tension, yes, but no brawling... no threats, insults or name-calling. No one cancelled their membership -- that we know of. :D As a group, we were mature and respectful.
I wish all controversial topics could run like that!!
You guys are great! :)
