Now that Valentines' day is approaching, I keep seeing advertisement everywhere about love. "will you find true love? love is around the corner, everyone will find love" etc.
As if love is something that you just sit there and wait for, if it doesn't come to you, you're just unlucky.
But I see it more like this. Love is like a dance for two. In order to share a beautiful dance you both need to have the skills, you should be equipped with the right shoes and have the agility and grace.
If you sit in a corner, all dark and depressed, filled with pain and dark thoughts, dressed in black, dwelling upon past failure, how do you expect that a graceful and skilful partner will come take your hand and dance with you ?
And even if a beautiful person comes along, what is the dance going to look like when one partner is not ready? and how long will it last before the other partner realises that the choreography is just not right ?
