Is anyone besides myself watching some of this? I don't watch much TV but love watching the winter sports and participating(I am an avid skiier). These athletes are the best of the best and simply amazing to watch. If you haven't sat down to watch this yet I encourage you to do so. This is an awesome way for all countries to participate in such a great event. I wish I could be so honored to be there.

I usually always watch the Winter Olympics, but haven't seen a bit of it this year due to life getting in the way of my precious TV viewing. :(

I love to watch the Olympics(both Summer and Winter).I'm happy they are in Italy because it's the same time zone and now I don't have to get up at all hours to watch it.

I'm passionate Olympics fan :) Besides that I love sports, especially winter sports. It's so healthy life style.

I've been watching bits of the Olympics here and there. My favorite competitions are the figure skating and the ice dancing. And I always make it a point to watch the opening and closing ceremonies.

I love the ice skating part of the Winter Olympics, and saw an incrediby artistic skater this morning, Matt Savoie. He is very beautiful physically, of course, but also literally dances on the ice, so graceful, so amazing. :)

I have been watching the figure skating. My hero for many years, Yevgeny Plushenko, won the gold, but I was disappointed by his performance. He wasn't as artistic as he usually is.

The Chinese pair, Shen and Zhao, whom I have also been supporting for many years, lost the gold. They were not well-trained because of an injury during the year. They did get the bronze medal, though.

I freakin love the Winter Olympics!!!

I've been avidly watching since the opening ceremony last Friday.

I've had highs and I've had lows while watching. (I get really into it)

I'm also upset that USA isn't higher in the medal counts...I think Coca Cola might have rigged the games...cuz of the promotion they're running. *grin*

Leave it to me to be the lone "HELL NO". lol

I used to love the skating but, after the whole Kerrigan/Harding thing I pretty much lost interest. The Olympics in general are little more than a colosal(sp) waste of money (need we look back at the LAST winter Olympics where they had that GHASTLY opening presentation or the summer Opympics where they had these idiot stilt actors as part of the opening ceremonies?) Take the millions wasted on that crap and feed a few million starving people - ANYWHERE - it doesn't even have to BE in the STATES - use the money where it's actually going to some good.

(Ironically, lol, I've got two aunts, three cousins and an uncle that live in Torino and are THEY at the Olympics?? Heck no, they got the heck out of Dodge and went to Rome until festivties are over...)

Yeah, I was upset that Plashenko got the gold (sorry Patricia!). Just because you can jump doesn't mean you are the best, leave it to the Russians....there was a great Canadian skater, then Matt Savoie who both did MUCH better programs on the ice than this High Jumper. My rant on the Olympics! :D

I think the snowboard cross is SWEET! I used to be an avid snowboarder before I moved to the city.

I'm still pretty miffed that NYC got snubbed out of their first Olympic bid. But hey, at least London won!

I think it's pretty sweet also...I've never snowboarded....but I'd totally wanna do that!!!

I've decided I want to be a downhill skier. It looks pretty cool and I like speed.

I'm completely INTO the Olympics. I've watched it from the opening ceremony last week and every night thereafter, and will until the end.

Love Apolo Anton Ohno...the guy is completely charismatic and a great athlete.

The skating is my fav, but I love it all...and I'm hoping to go to Vancouver in 2010.

I havent't watched the Olympics since I was 12 but something kinda cool happened to me the other day. We were watching the men's race (w/ Apollo Ohno) and I seldom find younger guys attractive but Apollo Ohno makes me want to say OHYES! Anyways, I was upstairs studying for a test I have in A&P II and when I shut my book, guess who is on the front of it!! It's a shot of Apollo with those 2 skaters from Japan and some other guy!! I never pay attention to book covers and now I have a crush on an Olympian that I've been carrying around a pic. of for the past 10 mo.s!!

What's up with curling?
