Making sushi

Have you ever tried making suchi at home? is it difficult? I want to give it a try.

We love sushi and have to drive 30 miles to the nearest resturant, so I thought Id look it up on the internet and see how it's done.

This was an interesting site I found will tutorial videos on how to make each type of sushi:

yep I make sushi, maki and tempura but that's about all.

edit: oops sorry, you asked if it's difficult. It's not difficult but it's all an art of cutting the fish the right way.

I added tempura on the list. For that, you need to keep the batter in the fridge.

I'm sure members of Japanese origin could give you better advice.

Wow...this is funny cuz I was just thinking about trying to learn how to make Califorina Rolls...cuz I'm tired of paying for them. *grin*

Sushi are not so hard to make after you practice a couple times, my first sushi's came out really bad, but I tried again and again and now I make them as easy as I would do any other dish.

I like the idea of the book, in borders you can find a good variety of Sushi's recipe book.
