My addiction

Well, I'm addicted to music. I simply can't live a day without at least half an hour of pumping music. When I feel screwed, I turn up the volume and I simply let go and dive into the music. Somehow that makes me feel better most of the time. Am I the only one with this addiction?

Count me as a person who is "addicted" to music. I listen to music mostly while I surf the net or I'll take a walk and bring my walkman along. Music is a part of my life and I couldn't imagine a day without it. ;)

Nope, youre not the only one... i'm addicted to music too. Have been since i was a pre-teen.

I also am addicted to going to see it LIVE. I have 'been without' for months!! I have a concert to go to 3/18 and i cant wait!!

I constantly have music on while I am surfing the net, writing or doing homework. It's fun now that there is so much music on my space I leave different people's pages open to hear their songs.


I take my iPod every where now. I can't work out with out music and I can't drive with out music.

I am obsessed dancing to music I do it in my room all the time. I also live to go out and dance. I get so lost in the beat of the songs that it temporaily makes all my problems seem very far away. I just was out dancing last nite and I am counting down the minutes until I go tonite.

I also have a college radio show where I am a DJ--I just can't get enough :D


Claria- what are your favorit music genres?

Well, I like different kinds of music. Currently I'm addicted to techno :)
Anyway I like R&B, acid jazz, good old rnr ...

Yeah, Stu and I really dig electronic music too...I just got back from a long morning walk listening to my iriver the whole way. My track list was weird today...Started with eminem `lose yourself' which is awesome, followed by enya!? and some hard trance, then back to beethoven's moonlight sonata:) That was weird set but really nice to walk to.

I just ordered an IPod...my first one! I am psyched! I have a very boring job, and i will be able to listen to it almost the whole day. I cant wait. I know it will be alot of work to choose my favorite songs off my CD's, but hopefully it wont be that hard to figure out.

I love alternative/indie/punk/ska/emo/pop-punk...also 'lite Rap.' I like lots of different stuff...just not country...

Claria- What do you mean by techno? Like what Dj's and artists do you listen to? I never know when someone actually likes techno techno b/c a lot of people just call house, trance and a bunch of other dance stuff techno so just curious b/c if we like the same stuff, i can send u some hot tracks.

I am obsessed with house and trance some of my favorites are: Armin Van Helden, Tiesto, Deep Dish, Armand Van Buuren, Sylver, Red Carpet, Hypno Project, Danny Tengalia, Paul Van Dyke, Reina, David Morales....that kind of thing.

I also like 80s, some punk...I like some rap but not to dance to...I really have some love for everything accept country, it's just not my style.

My friends and family marvel at my memory of when songs became famous during my formative years. I can remember exactly what I was doing the first time I heard most of them.

Plus, I rarely meet anyone who's got as eclectic taste as I have. I'm a classical flutist, who plays jazz tenor sax and sings alternative country. Plus I love to listen to ska, old school punk (gabba hey!), celtic music, and contemporary praise & worship.

Yeah, I'm weird like that. :p But it's all good!

After a bad day at the office I like to get into my suburban ,turn up some system of the down, kid rock,or drowning pool very loud and head to the shooting range and sling some lead :)

So can I...and some songs give me SUCH a feeling when i hear them come on...indescribable. I feel like i'm where i was at the time when they were first popular.

I know the song i had my first 'serious' kiss to (as opposed to a peck on the lips ;) ), and also the song that i had my 'FIRST' to :D

Yeah, I'm really glad i went for the Nano. The only thing that sucks is that I reformatted my comp so if I try to get new songs now, it will think my computer is a forgein computer and erase the 155 songs that I have. So until i down load more stuff, I am have to just keep the ones I have, but even if I work out 4 days a week i can still get variety with that many songs.
